    Obama for …
Obama for anti-capitalism! Wow – we are screwed. The only thing that makes this country great… and it’s going to be voted away some how. Look up some Ben Franklin quotes to see how HE predicted THAT (people voting themselves money).

  5. goingwithzed Says:

    He talks about …
He talks about Obama because he thinks that he will be the next president. That said, Obama and McCain are both wrong – you should have voted Libertarian to make your live in the next 5-10 years better.

As a tech guy Im pretty ed off. I won’t explain but my pains never trickled down and even though I already paid the price I gotta pay again for stupid mortgage borrowing. This place is just getting worse and worse – it ain’t what my granparents fought for.

    Deregulation of the …
Deregulation of the markets encouraged by Reagan, continued on with Bush,Clinton under Greenspan.Peter is claiming Obama will crash the economy before he takes office with little criticism of McCain who will surly support the same people who have caused all this, partisanship?Interest rates are a knee jerk reaction based on Milton Freedmans ideas about avoiding a depression,Peters attitude of let them fail&hyperinflation from printing of dollars is correct but does nothing to solve the problem

  9. Batavian187 Says:

    He calls his …
He calls his company Euro/Pacific capital now most of those countries have a healthy dynamic state sector.
Much larger then that in the USA.

  10. Batavian187 Says:

    In fact i’m having …
In fact i’m having trouble even thinking of some major new product that has originated from the free market.
And i’m not talking about the toothpaste with extra mint flavor with three or four different colors.
    Toothpaste is toothpaste.

  11. Batavian187 Says:

    Peter Schiff seems …
Peter Schiff seems like a free market fundamentalist.
He’s so negative on government but governments have created things like jet engines, the Internet, microwave ovens, computers, there are a million things that have come from government research that end up feeding the free market industries with huge profits for investors,
He makes it sound like everything government touches turns into dust.
While to me it seems it’s the other way around.

  14. snarej Says:

    Recognize your own …
Recognize your own will. God did not give us the power of mind to ignore, but to use. To follow Christ, you must follow Him with heart and mind, and understand the choice. You don’t need violent threats to persuade people to seek Truth. Truth speaks for itself.

    What Peter said …
What Peter said about Obama VS McCain is true.
With liberal Clinton in the White House the conservitives took over congress. Clinton was powerless and declaired “The era of big government is over”. If Gore won in 2000 he would have had the same problem. If Obama wins in 2008 we can hope the Republican will nominate a true Ron Paul type conservitive.

  18. mrzack888 Says:

yeah but Peter is a …
yeah but Peter is a realist, unlike Larouche. Peter knows congress won’t do anything, so the only option is to save your own . Peter Schiff and real free traders are on the same side as progressive democrats, both are against this current type of fake “free trade”.

  19. P38SpaceModulator Says:

    But they’re still …
But they’re still government jobs or government contracts…so we need the private sector to take over the earnings and savings part so we can get past the printing of money and get true savings.

  20. cashmoneyhundredaire Says:

    How would trickle …
How would trickle down economics cause the derivative bubble? In addition, Peter doesn’t blame the derivative bubble on “Obama.” He blames it on government intervention in the form of irresponsible monetary policy and low interest rates.

  21. wawbwc Says:

    anana88. The ” …
anana88. The “Freedom to Fascism” video will take a couple hours of your time. It is a conspiracy theory. Watch it and make up your “own” mind. Decide if it has merit. If it does, the “path to dooms day” statement is true. There is plenty of these conspiracy videos on YouTube. They all pretty much lead down the same path. “Zeitgist the Movie” is another spell-binder. Check them out for curiousity sake. I drank the Kool-Aid. Go ahead, have a sip.

  22. anana88 Says:

    Well, you just …
Well, you just can’t say that its on a “path to dooms day” then, since there will be middle class citizens benefiting from this massive Re-building. This is Jobs, and Production. Middle class starts to pay their debts and become less levereged. Now that’s I imagine this would benefit us all.

  23. wawbwc Says:

    anana88. Private …
anana88. Private companies bid for the contracts. Tax dollars pay for the contracts. Don’t get me wrong. I’d rather see tax dollars spent on infrastructure than watch international bankers legally steal it. Either way, the government is on a self-destructive path to dooms day. This budget crisis is no accident. It is all by design. To understand my point. Go to the YouTube ‘Search’. Type in “America- Freedom to Fascism Part 1 Of 11″. From: gosale1. Watch all 11 parts. It’s an education.

  24. anana88 Says:

    The infurstructure …
The infurstructure is built through the private sector. Private companies bid for the contracts. SO it is not the GOV. building the infurstructure you see..

  25. HISTstdt285 Says:

    wawbwc, I agree …
wawbwc, I agree with you completely. anana88, government work programs will not bring the middle class any significant amount of jobs, just look at FDR during the depression, his attempt to create public work and ociations didn’t make a significant difference, WWII is what got us out of the depression, use your head and guess whats going to happen this time, history will repeat itself. Ron Paul 08!
